Roman Emperors and Leaders
Posted on 27th December 2020
Rome had over 140 emperors in 500 years. Some ruled for many years and others for very short periods.
The word emperor comes from the Latin ‘Imperator’ which means military commander.
Although not an emperor, I have included Julius Caesar, as an influential leader, general and dictator of Rome.
Julius Caesar
Emperor Augustus
Emperor Tiberius
Emperor Caligula
Emperor Claudius
Emperor Nero
Emperor Vespasian
Emperor Trajan
Emperor Hadrian
Marcus Aurelius
Commodus
